Bobby Simpson founded Getting Better Every Day, Inc. in 1989, basing the business name and purposes on the Biblical principles stated in the hymn “Higher Ground.” A popular writer, speaker, and DVD instructor/producer, Simpson has personally provided services in twelve nations. He worked as an assistant baseball coach at Florida State University as well as a professional baseball scout and coach. Simpson directed the youth program for a national softball organization and coached international softball teams, including the British Women’s National Team who won the Gold Medal at the 2004 Olympic Test Event in Greece.
In addition, he served as a representative to the U.S. Olympic Committee House of Delegates. He was also a member of a blue ribbon panel that developed national standards for youth sports. Simpson spent fifteen years as a public educator and nearly twenty years as a leader in community and state recreation. A Baptist deacon and Sunday School teacher, living in Tifton, GA, he and his wife, Bonnie, have been happily married for 48 years. His daughter, Neilie, is the founder of Neilie S. Dunn Public Relations, living in Savannah, GA with her husband, Justin, and two fantabulous grandsons, Cullen and Ryves.
